Jancis Robinson gives this 17/20:

70% from the Awatere Valley, 30% from Wairau, 80% fermented in big older barrels. Has both a creamy quality as well as tangy fruit from greengage to stone fruit. Ripe but dry (2 g/l RS). Creamy and pure with an overall subtlety even with these fine fruit flavours. Stony, dry finish.
